Admissions Process
Now enrolling for the 2023-2024 school year.
From inquiry, the next step is scheduling a campus visit. During the tour, parents have an opportunity to visit classrooms, meet teachers, walk the campus and learn what it is like for your child to be a student at South Bay Christian School.
The next step is to apply online on the school home page. Once you have filled out the student application, a grade-level assessment will be scheduled with a teacher to determine grade readiness.
The enrollment committee will review the application, report cards, letters of recommendation and the results of the placement exam. The principal will notify parents of the acceptance status for the student usually within 3 to 5 days.
Once the student has been accepted, it is critical to complete the registration paperwork which includes the child’s immunization records, permission to treat (consent form), insurance information, etc. All documents must be on file before a student can attend school at SBCS.
Connect with our Admissions Team today via email at fmarzicola@sbchristian.com or call the front office at 310. 370.6215.
We look forward to welcoming your family into the SBCS family.
Please note:
Kindergarten students must be five years of age by September 1st to be admitted into our Kindergarten program according to California State law.
Students turning five years of age between September 1st and February 1st are considered TK students. We have limited spaces for TK students and often refer these students to our Discoveryland Pre-K program.
